Learn how to use varied types of gardens. A herb garden adds flavor to anything you cook. Vegetable gardens can be maintained all year round for good eating.
Map Reading and Hiking
When the worst happens, you might need to flee. You need to know where you’re going. Reading a map can help you figure it out. You want to know your south east south from your north west north when you’re walking. You also want to know how to hike. Hiking can help you get away fast. You should know how to deal with varied types of terrain as you walk. Someone who is able to cope with different types of elevation will find it a lot easier to survive long term.
